POLL TAX MARCH

Demonstrations against the UK poll-tax brought down Margaret Thatcher, although unfortunately her rotten regime continued. This shows support for scottish protesters in Sheffield, 1990.

CYBERHOST, CYBERIA EALING

Besides being a cyberhost in CYBERIA at EALING Benski is a professional photographer. We both underestimated the effect of the flash on his ID amulet.

BIG BEN, WESTMINSTER

Some engineers reckon that work on the nearby metro system may cause this tower to start leaning from the vertical. No doubt many voters hope it will fall on top of the parliament house while it is full of politicians.

PEAK DISTRICT,UK

Stanage Edge
This is a popular spot for climbing and hang gliding, and it is only six or seven miles from Sheffield.

PEAK DISTRICT,UK

Derwent Edge
This is to the north of the Sheffield to Manchester road, and although near to large towns there is a sense of remoteness.

STONE CIRCLE

This stone circle lies near to Matlock in Derbyshire.

BUDDHA

Buddha images in Oriental temples are nothing new. Here is a mural with obvious similarities to Buddha, illuminated by the sun shining through the roof of a derelict warehouse in London.

CEMETARY

This ornament represents the grave of a rich industrialist. Poor people were also buried in the cemetary, but the council levelled their graves and turned the cemetary into a park, and dog's toilet. Personally I preferred the place when it was overgrown, silent, and full of ghosts.

JAN VAN STEEN and KISHIKO

Jan van Steen and Kishiko both GODS on the Internet GO Server. That is to say, they were active in promoting GO on the INTERNET right from the beginning.
