Cartoon style animations with messages. The videos are 100% computer generated. There are two major themes: the legacy of imperialism, and the need to question any form of 'knowledge' presented to us via computer simulations. The text messages in the videos may be seen by looking at the source code files fractal.df , mset.df , and animate.d4f
Computer modelling provides much 'pseudo-data' which illuminates/ obscures much debate about the current economic and financial systems and the consequences for life on this planet. Some computer models are unquestioned, so people plan to build horrendously energy intensive airports and road systems based on future projections. In the UK they go for these resource consuming projects, but anyone who suffers 'negative time warp' style internet connection speeds knows that transition to a 'knowledge economy' remains a bad joke. The 'free market' in telecommunications is a recipe for a rip-ff culture where creativity and innovation are stifled.
Our political leaders tell us that we live in a free society compared with China, but in place of state control we see a bi-polar world based on MICROSOFT and GOOGLE.
