The Grampian Police Force in Scotland, UK is to introduce 'voluntary' drug and alcohol testing for existing employees, and compulsory screening for job applicants. This is by no means new in the United Kingdom. Professional sportsmen and women have had to face these tests on a routine basis for years. There are also policies for drug testing in jails, and for the screening of those who wish to join the armed forces.

The chief constable of the Grampian police force urged all employers to do their bit to help fight the scourge of drug abuse. In order to help the middle classes determine whether their investments in the shares of drug test companies are likely to pay off I would appreciate your help in filling out this form.

There is already material about drug testing within the USA on the web, so this form is designed for The Rest of The World.
